Representatives of Moscow's tourism industry joined the national project "Labor Productivity" for the first time

Nine representatives of the Moscow tourist industry joined the national project "Labor Productivity". This was announced by Maria Bagreeva, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.

"The first representatives of the tourism industry became participants of the national project "Labor Productivity" in the capital. In October last year the Government of the Russian Federation supported Moscow's initiative and included tourism in the number of industries whose representatives can participate in the national project in the regions implementing its activities at their own expense. In March this year, the Government of the Russian Federation lowered for the tourism sector one of the criteria required for participation in the national project. The minimum annual revenue was reduced from 400 million to 180 million rubles. Now more than 360 Moscow tourist companies, including hotels, health resort organizations, travel agencies and tour operators can become participants of the national project", - said Maria Bagreeva

The national project "Labor Productivity", she added, has already proved its effectiveness for many companies of the city, now its tools can be used by the tourism business. The hotel sector of the capital occupies a significant place in the city's economy. Moscow hotels meet high quality standards and are an important part of the city infrastructure. The national project will give them an opportunity to improve business processes, improve the quality of work with clients, optimize logistics, increase the qualification of employees and competitiveness.

Earlier the Mayor of Moscow reported that 306 capital companies became participants of the national project "Labor Productivity".

The national project "Labor Productivity" is a measure of state support for business, which allows to increase the volume of output and reduce production costs without additional costs. In Moscow, the national project has been implemented since the beginning of 2022. By the end of 2024, 419 enterprises will be able to take part in it.

Since 2022, the Moscow Regional Competence Center (Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Mosstrategy"), subordinate to the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city, has been implementing the project in the capital. Applications for participation are accepted on the website of the national project operator in Russia with mandatory indication of the region - Moscow.

As part of the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity" in the capital, the contest "Best Mentoring Practices of the City of Moscow - 2024" is held. You can apply for participation until June 28, 2024.
