Analytical Center Expert Speaks at International Conference in Tashkent

Doctor of Economics, Professor Elena Zarova, representing the expert team of the Analytical Center of Moscow, spoke at the international scientific and practical conference "BIG DATA, artificial intelligence and e-commerce in the development of digital economy: problems, challenges, solutions" on December 22 in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The event was also attended by representatives of the American universities of Pennsylvania and Georgia, Microsoft Corporation, Korean "Institute of Statistical Learning", Ural, Southern Federal and Financial Universities of Russia, Polish International Academy of Business, specialized ministries and departments of Uzbekistan.

The main goal of the conference is to provide a broad overview of theoretical and methodological aspects of the digital economy, as well as to identify ways to improve the methodology of its statistical analysis.

Elena Zarova, speaking to her colleagues, shared the results of her research on the possibilities of artificial intelligence, which has the potential to develop the analytical function of official statistics.

In addition, as part of her visit to the capital of Uzbekistan, Elena Zarova received a diploma of "Honorary Professor" from the Rector of Tashkent State University of Economics, Kongratbay Sharipov, for many years of cooperation in scientific and teaching activities.
